FindMyCar

Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

FindMyCar does not collect any data. Where you park stays on your iPhone and your Apple Watch. No account, no ads, no analytics.

Who is responsible

FindMyCar is an app developed by Luis Carvajal. For anything about this policy, write to findmycar@carvajal.io.

Your location

The app uses your location to save where you parked and to guide you back. The parking spot is stored only on your iPhone and is sent to your own Apple Watch so it can show you the way. It is never sent to us.

Maps, addresses and routes

To show the street name and the walking route, the app uses Apple Maps, which receives the coordinates needed for that request under Apple's privacy policy. If you choose to open the route in Google Maps, that app receives the destination.

Photos and notes

The photo and the note you add stay on your iPhone. When you tell the app you've got your car back, both are deleted.

Notifications

Parking meter reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. No server is involved.

What leaves your device

Nothing reaches us. There is no FindMyCar server.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, no selling or sharing of data with anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will say so before the update is released, with a new date at the top.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Questions are always welcome at findmycar@carvajal.io.
